Legal peptides: what is legal and how it works
Disclosure first
Atumnus LLC owns both Peptide Industry Gossip and OceanicScore, the telehealth service linked below. We may earn revenue when you use it. Our records of sellers, letters and cases do not rate, rank or endorse any company, including ours.
What counts as a legal peptide
- Semaglutide and tirzepatide are peptide drugs. Testosterone and other hormone therapy are hormones, not peptides, and follow the same prescription route.
- A licensed clinician reviews your history and decides whether a prescription is appropriate. You do not self-select a product or a dose.
- A pharmacy fills the prescription. The medicine is either an FDA-approved product or a compounded drug made by a pharmacy. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. What the FDA terms mean.
- Products sold as “research use only” are not prescribed medicine. This site documents enforcement against sellers of them. We do not link to them.
Where to buy them: OceanicScore
These are OceanicScore’s own statements, as published on its site on Oct. 6, 2026. We have not verified them independently.
- GLP-1 prescriptions, TRT and other protocols are handled by licensed prescribers in its network.
- Nothing ships before a licensed clinician reviews your case.
- Its plans, financing and pricing are listed on its own site. Check them there; we do not quote prices here.
